Results From 2011-2012 Season
The Greater Gardner High School Bowling Club completed its fourth season in March 2012 with Narraganset Regional High School winning the Conference Championship. It was Narragansett's third consecutive championship. Seven local high schools participated this season: Narragansett, Oakmont, Monty Tech, Leominster, Gardner, Murdock, and St. Bernard's. Five local students averaged over 200 for the season including Oakmont members Corey Umbrello (225) and Robert Rahaim (202), Leominster Leader Aaron Gilmour (219), Monty Tech's Zachary Moore (200) and Narragansett student Mike Hart (204).
Narragansett, Oakmont, and Monty Tech represented our conference at the third annual High School State Bowling Tournament.
The tournament was held at Gardner Ten Pins on March 3rd and 4th, 2012. The teams event was won by Drury High School who edged out the Pittsfield High School Team. Narragansett, Oakmont, and Monty Tech placed fifth, sixth, and ninth respectively. In the individual competition, Abby Rossi of Monument High School win the Girls division title. In the Boys division, Mike Johnson of Drury had won not only the title, but was also the tournament MVP. Local student Adam Cormier made it to the stepladder finals in fourth place. He won his first two matches, beating Taconic's Peter Dubin 237 to 180, and then Lee's Tyler Warner 202 to 162. In an excellent final matchup, Mike Johnson beat Cormier 235 to 202.

The Greater Gardner High School Bowling Club completed its second season in March 2011 with Narragansett Regional High School winning the Conference Championship. It was Narragansett's second consecutive conference championship. Five local high schools participated this season: Narragansett, Oakmont, Monty Tech, Leominster, and Gardner. Four local students averaged over 200 for the season including Oakmont members Corey Umbrello (222) and Robert Rahaim (206), Narragansett leader Nick Everhart (208) and Monty Tech's Zachary Moore (206). These bowlers have shown exceptional promise.
Narragansett and Oakmont represented our conference at the second annual High School State Bowling Tournament on March 5th, 2011 in Pittsfield. Of the 14 teams, Narragansett finished fifth and Oakmont eleventh.
